Saluda Lake was createt in 1905 to provide hydroelectric power and is the uppermost dam on the Saluda River. Trees that you will see include cypress, a variety of oak species, river-birch and more. Wildlife you may see include a variety of different bird species including seagulls. Fishing is decent on this part of the river too.
